What is JSONPath Query?
JSONPath is a query language for extracting data from JSON documents, similar to XPath for XML. This JSONPath tool supports complete JSONPath syntax, including root node ($), child node access (.), array index ([0]), array slice ([start:end]), wildcards (*), recursive descent (..), filter expressions ([?(@.price > 10)]), and more. The tool provides real-time query result highlighting, supports multi-line result display, and includes a quick reference for common JSONPath expressions.
When to Use JSONPath Query
Use when extracting specific fields from large API responses, querying matching elements in JSON arrays, filtering nested JSON data, or verifying data paths in JSON structures.
How to Use JSONPath Query
Paste JSON data into the input area. Enter a query expression in the JSONPath input field (e.g., $.users[0].name or $..price). Query results are displayed in real-time in the output area.
