What is React SVG Component Generator?

React SVG Component Generator is an online code generation tool that transforms raw Scalable Vector Graphics SVG markup into clean idiomatic React functional components ready for immediate use in React and Next.js applications. While you can paste raw SVG into JSX the resulting code is often suboptimal it uses SVG native attributes instead of React camelCase equivalents it lacks width height color and className props for customization it does not handle accessibility attributes like aria-label and role properly and it may contain editor metadata that should be stripped. This generator addresses all of these concerns producing production-ready React SVG components. The tool converts all SVG attributes to React camelCase equivalents strokeWidth strokeLinecap className etc strips XML-only declarations and metadata adds configurable component props for width height fill color stroke color strokeWidth and className applies accessibility best practices with role img and aria-label props adds TypeScript interface definitions in TSX mode if selected and optionally wraps the SVG in a forwardRef for ref forwarding. Additional options include making colors accept a theme-aware color prop generating components that use CSS custom properties for styling supporting both .jsx and .tsx output formats and adding SVGR-standard viewBox handling. The generated component code is displayed with syntax highlighting alongside the original SVG preview and includes a one-click copy button plus download option as a .jsx or .tsx file. All processing happens client-side no SVG code is sent to any server.

When to Use React SVG Component Generator

Use when importing SVG icons into a React or Next.js project, building a reusable React SVG icon library, generating typed SVG components for TypeScript React applications, preparing SVG assets for themeable React UIs, or avoiding manual SVG-to-JSX conversion for large icon sets.
